Angela & John Conforti

Angela and John Conforti are a husband and wife team that have a true passion for antiques, estate jewelry, decorative arts and unusual items. They are always on the hunt for anything old and interesting. Finding it, buying it and sometimes salvaging it, working to bring it back to life for a new home.
Angela has a degree in Fine Art as well a degree in Fashion Design from New York City's Fashion Institute of Technology. After working for a decade in New York as a designer, traveling the world searching for inspiration and overseeing production, it was time for a change. In the 90's she opened up her first shop in the center of Hoboken NJ selling antique and vintage items.
John remembers tailing
after his Dad on their weekly trips to the local fleamarkets. He still has his very first "antique" he bought, a 1920's comptometer, at the ripe old age of eight. After graduating from Newark School of Fine Industrial Arts he opened up a six thousand square foot antique wholesale warehouse and became part owner of the Summit Antiques Center, which is where they met.

....fast forward fifteen years and we still love what we do.
Three sons haven't slowed us down, we just take them along for the journey.
